十八大报告

1. 坚持以人为本、全面协调可持续发展，提出构建社会主义和谐社会、加快生态文明建设，形成中国特色社会主义事业总体布局，着力保障和改善民生，促进社会公平正义，推动建设和谐世界，推进党的执政能力建设和先进性建设，成功在新的历史起点上坚持和发展了中国特色社会主义。

1. We have emphasized the need to put people first and to pursue comprehensive, balanced and sustainable development; we have called for building a harmonious socialist society and speeding up ecological progress, and we have adopted overall implementing steps for advancing the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. We have strived to ensure and improve the people's wellbeing, promoted social fairness and justice, worked to build a harmonious world, and strengthened the Party's governance capacity and advanced nature. We have thus upheld and developed socialism with Chinese characteristics from a new historical starting point.
